Hi, I’m Kelly Morgan.

I’m a captain and oyster farmer living and working in Southern and Mid-Coast Maine. I have a passion for bringing people out on the water to experience the beauty of our oceans.

My hope is that those who join me leave with a deeper sense of connection to our coastal resources and awe in the marine ecosystem that sustains us.

If you’ve never tried fresh seafood pulled straight out of the water, then you gotta come out with me! You won’t forget it.

My STORY

FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA,

I grew up in Southern California, sailing, surfing, and diving around the Channel Islands and California kelp forests.

Water was a part of my life from a young age, through Junior Lifeguards and swim team, to playing waterpolo throughout high school.

AROUND THE WORLD

In my early career, I had the privilege of sailing with Sea Education Association, where I obtained the 720 days and 20,000+ blue water miles for my captain’s license.

My favorite memories include sailing from San Diego to Tahiti,
around the Marquesas, Tuamotus, and
Aotearoa, New Zealand.

AND TO Maine.

Ready to return to land, I moved to Maine and began the Aquaculture Apprenticeship Program.

Along with 9 others, I began my journey as oyster farmer in Spring 2024!

On tHe OYSTER Farm

For a year and a half, I worked at Bombazine Oyster Company in Brunswick, Maine, with father-son duo, Max and Chris Burtis. My titles included farm hand, sales manager, and merch coordinator.

Shout out Bombazine!

KLK AdVentures & Tours

These days, I love to share my knowledge of sustainable seafood and the magic of regenerative ocean farming.

I operate out of the stunning Small Point Peninsula of Phippsburg, Maine, with North East Salt Water and Maine Oyster Company.
